Previously, in 2006, I received a BA in computer science from Hendrix College, with a minor in mathematics. In 2004, I studied Asian Studies at Kansai Gaidai University (関西外国語大学). More about this is on my resume.
For the past year, I have worked in Dr. Eugene Agichtein's Intelligent Information Access Laboratory.
Thus summer, I am teaching two sessions on computer programming for the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP).
At Emory, I have taken the classes Systems Programming, Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, and Algorithms, while this semester I will be taking Information Retrieval, Compiler Construction, and Theory of Computation.
After the completion of the this year, I intend to pursue a PhD in computer science.
